A little background...

I've done a range of work across the photography sector over the past twenty-eight years or so, over and above being an image-maker; this has included lecturing, the project management and production of large-scale photographic events (awards, festivals, symposia), workshops and participatory projects in schools and communities.

The images on the home page of this site represent just some of my personal portrait work; other photographic work and interest include the landscape. I do still undertake commercial and documentary commissions (where I fit the project and vice-versa) – so if you're interested in finding out more about me and my work, for a project you have in mind, please do get in touch (via email in the first instance, thank you).

Outside of photography, I'm a qualified outdoor instructor (HML Award, aspirant ML(s) & NNAS Tutor Award), teaching navigation, leading groups on hill walks and supervising/assessing DofE Awards.

I may write more, at some point, but in the meantime you can always have a look at my Linked-in profile, one of my Instagram feeds (photography and hill-walking) or even harass follow me on Twitter.
